Hi, I’m Namita. I started writing here to organize my thoughts about anxiety and its recovery. I did this to help make sure that such as repository will always help me remember what works and where to focus. I hope this website might play some positive part in your journey as well. Welcome and thanks for stopping by.
My work follows the perspective that using the mind to problem-solve anxiety cannot really work. Counterintuitively, I have found that the solution lies in learning first why, and then how to walk away from it. When practiced, I’ve seen this path create the kind of change which earlier felt like an impossibility.
Through time, what I’ve also found is that neither our struggles nor our victories always need labels, boxes, distinctions or neatly organized categories. If you look carefully, you’ll find common threads. As much as possible, I write to unravel such commonalities, so that progress can happen more swiftly and broadly.
In that sense, consider this website’s name as not entirely representative of what it’s about. It is not just about anxiety. It is about helping ourselves experience the living condition differently. Whether your struggle is with fear, sadness, habits or productivity, try to stay curious and committed to perspectives that can help your situation. Try not to be too concerned with the label.
I invite you to travel around this website and consider some of the suggestions mentioned. If something clicks, I invite you to stay with that feeling and decide what it will mean for you. A great place to start would be the post archives. Note that this website is under construction and older content is being updated.
I also invite you to join my email community to stay in more regular contact. You’ll find links to join the community via forms on this website. Click one and come on over.
Apart from my work with anxiety, I have an equally special love for supporting people with health and fitness and practicing a more value-aligned living. In my spare time, I’m drawn to nature, reading, cooking, traveling and spending time with my loved ones.
Thanks for stopping by. I hope the messages within play a positive role in your life.
